Rose quartz in varying shapes & sizes and freshwater pearls are connected with hand wrapped sterling silver links. Necklace is 16” plus a 2” sterling silver extender & lobster clasp. Rose Quartz is a pale pink variety of quartz that can range from transparent to translucent. The color is a very pale and delicate powder pink. It is one of the most desirable quartz’s and is called the “love stone”. It is said to bring forgiveness, compassion and tolerance. Freshwater pearls are cultured in freshwater mussels, mostly in China. They are much smaller than saltwater pearls. One mussel can yield more than twenty or more pearls in each harvest.
